Founded in 2009 and based in Marseille (France), ENOGIA is a recognized specialist in heat-to-power systems, offering scalable solutions for small, medium, and large-scale power plants. Its patented micro-turbomachinery enables the recovery of low-temperature waste heat, starting from 70°C, and transforms it into green electricity, offering both environmental and financial benefits.
A simple & profitable solution for the waste sector
ENOGIA’s ORC modules are particularly well suited to the waste sector, including:
• Landfill gas engines (jacket water + exhaust heat recovery)
• Waste wood biomass boiler
• Municipal waste incinerator (enhancing back pressure steam turbines or district heating)
• Hazardous waste, clinical waste or Sewage incinerator (direct exhaust heat recovery).

The plug-and-play design allows for quick and simple integration into existing infrastructure, with no interruption to operations. The system ensures high reliability, boasting over 97% availability, and delivers optimal performance even under variable load thanks to its flexible turbine design.
With the Green Shield Power Solution, ENOGIA also offers a PPA-based financing model that minimizes upfront costs and guarantees performance, enabling plant operators to start generating profit from day one.

Deployments Across Europe and Asia
ENOGIA’s references include the Brest wastewater treatment plant in France, where a 180 kWe ORC unit recovers heat from the sludge incinerator’s exhaust, before the bag filter. Operational since 2022, the unit has been delivered in a plug-and-play container containing all ancillaries.

In the UK, ENOGIA is working with Veolia on a flagship project in Sheffield, providing two ORC modules with capacities of 180 kWe and 40 kWe to recover heat from the district heating network. Commissioning is scheduled for 2025,.The flexible design and patented regulation law of the turbine ensure to cope with the load fluctuation of the District Heating.
ENOGIA is also supporting Perenco with a retrofit project on two Wärtsilä SG31 engines at a cogeneration plant in the UK. The 2 ORC systems, scheduled for delivery in 2025, will recover heat from both exhaust gases and the cooling circuit, producing an additional 3 GWh of green electricity per year.

Internationally, ENOGIA keeps expanding into Asia with a major contract in Ulsan, South Korea, supplying 2.16 MW ORC power plant to recover waste heat from hydrogen fuel cells in a project led by Lotte Chemical. This initiative supports South Korea's green energy goals and highlights ENOGIA’s capacity to deliver large-scale, low-carbon power solutions worldwide.
