📣 The Goal

Xylem Analytics used the Water, Wastewater & Environmental Management Expo 2025 as a key platform to unveil their refreshed marketing brand, highlighting their environmental solutions and, in particular, their field‑proven, scalable and trusted YSI EXO Sonde and kiosk hardware for Section 82 continuous water quality monitoring (CWQM).

They showcased their latest HydroRIG‑PK pumped kiosk, the Surfbee uncrewed surface vehicle (USV) for spatial water quality and flow sampling surveys, and enhanced the stand with new professional environmental photography. WWEM provided the perfect setting within the ESS Expo for demonstrating how these technologies support reliable, real‑time water environment monitoring.

🚀 The Approach

They designed an open, interactive stand that encouraged visitors to engage with live demonstrations of the Surfbee USV, the HydroRIG‑PK pumped kiosk, and our WTW process analytics instrumentation.

Their presence was additionally strengthened by two well‑attended speaker sessions:

Day 1 – WWEM Keynote Theatre:
Monitoring their Water Environment in AMP8 and Beyond, delivered by Darren Hanson, Chris Dawson and Lee Pimble.

Day 2 – WWEM Monitoring Theatre:
Section 82 Monitoring: Delivering Certainty in an Uncertain World. A more in‑depth exploration of Section 82, co‑presented by James Chapman (Xylem) and Murray Powell (M Group), focusing on innovation and the CWQM programme collaboration between Xylem, M Group and Jacobs.

📊 The Results

WWEM delivered the strongest results yet, with exceptionally high‑quality leads - several connected to a significant multi‑million‑pound treatment project pipeline. Visitor footfall was the highest they’ve ever experienced, with interest spanning environmental, drinking water and wastewater treatment applications, beyond just water quality and flow monitoring.

The partnership between Xylem and M Group was further strengthened through their joint Section 82 presentation, reinforcing the collaborative approach behind the CWQM programme.
