BSI spoke about their net-zero week - a week of free online webinars with sector focus on achieving net zero - followed by meaningful networking interactions with BSI's team of sector specialists, who provided valuable guidance on navigating the journey towards net zero.
12:00 - 13:00 Flood and Community Resilience Speed Networking - Hosted by Communities Prepared
This engaging and dynamic networking session focused on flood and community resilience, connecting like-minded individuals, experts, and community leaders who shared a passion for building resilience in the face of flooding.
This speed networking event created meaningful connections, and enabled attendees to share insights and explore collaborative opportunities in the realm of flood preparedness and community resilience.
13:00 - 14:30 CIWM & Content with Purpose Documentary Launch - Leading the Way to a World Beyond Waste
Through interviews, podcasts, films, articles and a documentary, ‘Leading the Way to a World Beyond Waste’ shon a light on the waste management community and told the story of the organisations and professionals powering the sector’s transition.
The digital series explored progress in areas such as waste reduction and reuse, EPR, consistent collections, sustainable packaging design, technology, decarbonisation, research and innovation, and skills and training. It provided the perfect platform for the exchange of ideas and best practice, whilst raising awareness and inspiring the next generation.
