Emma is the Regulatory Affairs Leader at Beyondly (formerly Comply Direct), a B Corp compliance scheme and consultancy. She has a strong interest in resource efficiency, our transition to a circular economy and learning how these translate into government policy. She primarily leads the Beyondly team and member base with changing or new regulations related to all compliance services delivered at Beyondly, across packaging EPR, plastic packaging tax, DRS, WEEE, Batteries, ESOS, SECR, and also keeps a close eye to international policy developments impacting UK businesses. As the newly elected chair of the Packaging Scheme Forum, Emma is heavily involved with the implementation of packaging EPR for producers from a compliance scheme perspective, and collaborates with other schemes, regulators and Defra to ensure the transition to EPR is a success.
