David Thomas
A senior Lecturer at Middlesex University, a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Fellow of IOSH, David is an all-round professional with joined up thinking in organisational resilience, health and safety and operational management from with managerial and leadership experience in the private, public and university sector recently obtaining a Senior Leader MBA here at Middlesex University.
His experience includes hands on industrial experience that he has applied as outgoing Chair of the IOSH EWMG, bridging the gap between industry and academia to jointly find practical solutions to real problems. David led on the creation of the IOSH EWMG Managing waste Collections project collaboration with amongst others the CIWM and WAMITAB.
His main research interests are aligned to those of IOSH and includes, Competence, Wellbeing (Physical and mental health), Musculoskeletal Disordersand Rehabilitation /Return to work.
