Chris Griffiths is FCC Environments Environment Advisor and he has worked for the business for 28 years, originally as a senior chemist creating methods and testing industrial wastes for classification and disposal but he quickly moved to compliance roles ensuring site and company compliance with new and current regulations and guidance for waste and waste management. Chris sits on several industry regulation and technical groups and actively gets involved in consultations, development of guidance and specific projects such as the WRA’s waste wood classification project where he provided technical support and more recently on the issue of POPs. His focus is always on trying to get practical guidance and regulation that can be used and implemented at site and company level.
