Carolyn Moss
Carolyn is a Leeds lass born and bred. After travelling the world in her younger years, she returned to her beloved home city.
Following a brief spell of working in the travel industry, she packed away her passport and embarked on a new adventure with Leeds City Council.
Carolyn is immensely proud to have made a difference working with local communities and cherished colleagues in and outside the council over the last 17 years.
With a fascination of how people interact with their environment, a passion for sustainable living and a flair for planning, organising and generally getting stuff done, Carolyn has found her calling in delivering projects within Environmental Services for the last 7 years. Highlights include:
• Hyper-local and citywide campaigns to increase paper, plastic, glass and metal recycling.
• 'Agree Your Three' city conversation encouraging residents, businesses, educational establishments and the third sector to reduce, reuse and recycle more.
• The expansion of #LeedsByExample recycling 'on-the-go' to district centres.
• An anti-graffiti project testing out murals as a deterrent to taggers in graffiti hotspots.
• The annual changes to Christmas bin collections marketing campaign.
She is also a devoted wife and owner of a bossy three year old.
