After three years of thorough research and development, Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions is launching an innovative baling technology that specifically ensures a shorter baling time, optimised life cycle costs, and low energy consumption: The Two-Ram baler. Bollegraaf is proud to announce this new addition to the baler portfolio. These Two-Ram balers are designed, developed, manufactured, and tested in Bollegraaf’s manufacturing facility in the Netherlands. They are perfect for baling plastics, oversized OCC (Old Corrugated Cardboard), non-ferrous materials like aluminum cans, and more.

As a standard, the Two-Ram balers come with a dual pre-press technology, a stand-alone wire tie unit and fully-bolted Hardox plates. They are also easy to customise according to the customer’s needs.

“The introduction of the Two-Ram baler gives us new possibilities to help the recycling industry with their baling challenges," says Steve Starr, Sales Manager Business Unit Balers at Bollegraaf. “The Two-Ram baler is an adaptive machine, specially designed to fit the varying materials. This means that it autonomously adjusts the pressure level and other parameters. Thanks to machine learning, the system is able to improve itself and thus achieve the optimal bale weight”.

Case study

Recently Bollegraaf installed a brand-new Two-Ram baler at Kras Recycling in the Netherlands. Kras Recycling sorts and processes all kinds of plastics, as well as paper and metal. The recycling specialist is not sitting still when it comes to performance-enhancing processes. For that reason, Kras Recycling opted for the Two-Ram baler from Bollegraaf, in addition to their existing channel baler. In the Dutch city of Almere, the latest acquisition quickly proved to be a hit. The state-of-the-art equipment enables Kras Recycling to bale a wide variety of materials even better.
