There are just 3 weeks left to enter! The deadline to enter the Environmental Monitoring & Measurement Achievement Awards (the EMMAs) is fast approaching, with nominations closing on 12 June 2026.
Taking place on the first evening of ESS Expo, the EMMAs celebrate the people, projects and partnerships helping to raise standards across environmental monitoring and measurement. From air quality and emissions to water, wastewater, contaminated land, remediation and geoenvironmental work, the awards recognise the innovations and collaborations making a measurable difference across the sector.
At a time when accurate environmental data has never been more important, the EMMAs shine a light on the work helping organisations make better decisions, improve performance, support compliance and deliver more sustainable outcomes. Whether you have delivered a successful monitoring project, introduced a new technology, improved environmental performance for a client, supported a complex remediation programme, or helped turn measurement into meaningful action, this is your opportunity to gain industry recognition.
Entering is simple. Nominations are free and require just a 300-word entry and a photo, outlining the work undertaken, the approach used and the impact achieved. Self-nominations are welcome, and projects can be entered across all relevant categories.
The 2026 awards reflect the increasingly connected nature of environmental work, bringing together excellence across air, water and land. Categories span innovation, collaboration, monitoring, measurement, control, consultancy, laboratories and project delivery, making the EMMAs a valuable platform for organisations of all sizes to showcase their expertise.
Winners will be announced at the EMMA Awards ceremony on 16 September 2026 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, bringing together leading figures from across the environmental sector for an evening of celebration, networking and recognition.
If your project has improved environmental understanding, performance or outcomes, now is the time to put it forward.
Submit your free nomination before 12 June 2026 and give your work the recognition it deserves.
