ION SENSE®, a recognised leader in advanced gas detection technology, is participating in the Air Quality & Emissions (AQE) Exhibition, on Stand S80, where it will showcase its full portfolio of advanced gas sensing and integration solutions.
A key highlight is the ION SENSE® PID, a next generation photoionisation detector (PID) for volatile organic compound (VOC) detection, delivering exceptional performance with a 50% faster response time, robust EMI protection, intelligent diagnostics (patent pending), and a 15,000-hour lamp and filter life, and engineered to perform reliably even in high-humidity and demanding environments.
Also showcased is the MiniPID 2 range, ION SENSE®’s most established line of PID sensors, widely applied in indoor air quality and environmental monitoring. The sensors deliver rapid response and clear down times, for real-time VOC monitoring. Available ranges, sensitivities and energies for specific application needs include MiniPID 2, MiniPID 2 high sensitivity, MiniPID 2 PPB detection, and MiniPID 2 wide range.
The stand will also feature NextPM, one of the most advanced particulate matter (PM) sensors available. NextPM delivers real-time direct monitoring of PM₁, PM₂.₅, and PM₁₀ in both µg/m³ and particles per litre. Precision airflow control, integrated humidity regulation, and dual-angle optical detection enable highly accurate data collection in harsh or variable environmental conditions, ideally suited for indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring and smart city integration.
Supporting system integration, ION SENSE® will introduce its new ION CONNECT and ION TRANSMIT boards. These simplify deployment by providing rapid evaluation and “live PID data straight out of the box.” ION CONNECT converts analogue signals into digital outputs, while ION TRANSMIT enables long-range communication using UART and I²C, MODBUS RTU and 4 – 20 ma protocols.
