ZPE Ltd are the designers and manufacturers, in conjunction with a large international engine specialist,  of a ground breaking “Waste heat to Electricity” harvesting technology, which creates  power from many heat/steam sources, It is capable of an efficiency of up to 20%, greater than ORCs and far more flexible than turbines and can use saturated and superheated steam found in many industries from small environmental waste plants to large steel, cement and glass plants and virtually any industry that has waste heat. 

ZPE Ltd's “Waste heat to Electricity” harvesting technology, is an 8 cylinder axial reciprocating steam engine with our unique proprietary design which gives an exceptional performance.

The ZPE “Waste heat to Electricity” technology is a simple “plug and play’ system, that can be installed in banks of multiple engines giving the customer the ability to generate 200kWe up to an unlimited amount of MW's electricity dependent on the waste heat/steam available.

Our “Waste heat to Electricity” system gives an excellent ROI (as little as 1 year) or can be installed free of charge, on a power purchase agreement with no upfront Capex cost. It reduces carbon emissions, improves sustainability, and can drastically reduce energy costs while giving long term energy security.
