Our specialist knowledge, in flat-bottom silos and bunkers, is particularly applicable to the bulk materials and alternative energy solutions for industries including; Wastewater, Cement, Bioenergy and Energy from Waste. The “live-bottom” storage solution is preferred for materials with “non-flowing” characteristics. “Live” refers to the design of the container ensuring all material will eventually fall into contact with a discharge mechanism on a “first-in, first-out basis”. This is of particular importance in these markets. The Sliding Frame discharge system (originally patented by Saxlund) is just one example of the efficient discharge designs employed in our storage solutions.

Our Sales Engineers are regularly requested to configure, model and estimate complete sludge transportation systems. Using our stock of reference designs and intimate appreciation of the conveying effects on material characteristics, our Engineers integrate the components in a solution to achieve the customers' transportation and storage needs.
