Eldan Recycling A/S

Since 1956, Eldan Recycling have manufactured recycling equipment known for high performance, low production costs and products with high output purity. With a track record of more than 1200 complete systems and 8100 individual machines installed worldwide, Eldan is one of the largest manufacturers of recycling equipment in the world. Eldan's product range covers machines as well as standard and tailored recycling solutions for tires, cables, e-waste, aluminium scrap, municipal solid waste (MSW) and much more. ELDAN is one of the few companies that supplies equipment to the recycling industry and that still primarily produces its machines in-house at the Head office and production in Faaborg, Denmark. Here one can also find sales, in-house design, R&D, manufacturing, installation, ASD, R&D, Engineering, Finance and Marketing.

ELDAN Group is part of the prominent Swedish business group LIFCO that includes more than 190 companies in 31 countries focusing on niched, market leading companies. LIFCO has an approx. €2 billion turnover and employ more than 6 200 people world-wide and is listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Stock Exchange. In 2016 the Swedish manufacturer of cable recycling equipment REDOMA was bought to expand ELDAN’s cable recycling portfolio for small and medium sized cable recycling solutions.

The systems and machines are developed based on ambient mechanical technique for size reduction and separation and require no melting or chemical treatment. The modular design enables their customers to expand or upgrade their plants as the market changes. By adding on new machines with Ai and Infrared Technology to their product portfolio, they are now able to offer an even more sustainable recycling solution!

In January 2024 Eldan announced a co-ownership with Picvisa Machine Vision Systems, a front-runner in optical separation technology. This is a big leap forward to integrate optical sorting technology into the Eldan processes.

This has resulted in the development of new lines of sorting equipment. The first machines, the Eldan MPS (Multi Purpose Sorter) and the Eldan SPS (Small Purpose Sorter), are launched during Q2 2024.
