We manufacture high quality, extended life industrial screens for most types of granulating machines used in tyre processing, plastic granulating, as well as for wood waste & green waste processing machines. As well as making standard screens, we also produce many custom fit screens for customers with modified or non-standard machines. We can produce screens in advance of requirement for use on a call-off order basis to avoid down-time delays caused by unexpected screen breakage.

Traditionally, granulator screens and other industrial screens have been manufactured from mild steel to provide a cost-effective solution in a variety of screening applications.
Turbo Drier screens for types such as Herbold and B + B have been manufactured in stainless steel. Where extended wear-life is required for use in arduous conditions, we can produce through-hardened screens in various grades of Chrome-Boron steel. & wearplate steel grades.

We can offer screens laser profiled in ‘standard' hardened wearplate steels in the Brinell 400 range, or ‘high' grade in the Brinell 450 and 500 hardness ranges.

We can also offer through hardened chrome-boron steel screens in the Brinell 500+ hardness range for certain applications. With enhanced chrome carbide & grain structure, this grade offers considerably better wear resistance than other grades of similar hardness and typically gives a much greater service life than standard wearplate grades – including 500 hardness plates.

These chrome boron steel screens are punched & fabricated before hardening and tempering, resulting in our best performing and most cost effective product for high wear rate applications.

This capability has the potential to significantly alter the cost/life ratio of screen products, meaning that hardened screens can become cost effective in applications where high costs were previously prohibitive.

As well as through hardened chrome boron, we can also offer screens in various grades such as Hardox© / Abro© / Raex© / XAR ©, Domex© and 3CR12/Cromweld©, and we can also supply screens in highly corrosion resistant screens in duplex and super-duplex alloys.
