Communities Prepared equips communities across the country with the knowledge and tools to effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from flooding, severe weather, and other civil emergencies through in person training and online resources, training and tools. Run by the community charity Groundwork, and funded by The National Lottery Reaching Communities fund, we seek to meet the needs of individuals and communities in order to enable them to increase their resilience to emergencies. This year we are thrilled to be part of the Community Flood Zone as the first ever initiative centring the voices and needs of the public in shaping the conversations on Flooding.
