Throughout the past two years, the British Metals Recycling Association has been implementing tools to assist its members in decarbonising their operations.

This includes the publication of a sustainability hub, offering a single place to measure emissions, identify emission hotspots, learn and implement carbon reduction methods, and access carbon offsetting.

BMRA has also developed a bespoke carbon calculator tool, which allows metals recyclers to measure their scope 1 and 2 emissions.
