Lucy is a member of the Professional Practice Committee of the British Society of Soil Science. She is currently working as a subject matter expert for a non-departmental public body. Prior to this role, Lucy was part of an Alberta based soil and terrain team, carrying out soil surveys for soil classification in remote areas across Canada. Lucy is familiar with the Canadian Soil Classification System, the World Reference Base, UK Soil Classification and Agricultural Land Classification.
