Evonne has 25 years experience in the Public Sector. 16 of those within Local Authority and the past 9 years at Zero Waste Scotland. Evonne's roles have included Waste Awareness Officer, Waste and Recycling Team Leader, Colleague Experience Partner and more recently Manager of Food Systems and Bioeconomy. However, one role she never forgets is her first one as a 'skill-seeker' doing her modern apprenticeship and Scottish Vocational Qualifications. That's why the professional development of others and the green skills gap are so important to her.

A Chartered Waste Manager, Evonne is a member of the Scottish Centre Council, a Professional Development Co-ordinator and Chairs the Institutes Professional Development Network, focusing on supporting continuous professional development within the Resource Management sector.

Evonne is also a Board Director with experience in chairing People and Teams committees and successfully transforming their Boards and Organisational Structure.
