Duncan Sanders

Director, ATG Group

Duncan is an environmental and property professional specialising in the re-development of contaminated (brownfield) land with 30 years experience. He has worked for international consulting and contracting firms in Europe, N. America, Middle East and Africa throughout his career.
An Msc qualified and SiLC accredited contaminant hydrogeologist, Duncan has worked on remediation projects for oil companies, developers, contractors and utility companies helping to solve problems relating to chlorinated solvents, metals , hydrocarbons, japanese knotweed and more recently PFAS.
As Director for England in the ATG Group he manages a team with projects ranging in scale and complexity from oil spills to regional redevelopment. He is also the lead for PFAS remediation within the Group and is currently involved in a number of major projects and R&D studies with this challenging emerging contaminant.
He regularly takes part in expert panels and conferences and recently presented a seminar on Sustainable Remediation at the National Brownfield Institute in Wolverhampton.
