Day One: 17th September 2025

CARS is delighted to announce that this year's Skills Lab is being sponsored by ELEVATE. Visitors to the event will be able to take advantage of a special workshop with MD and Lead Trainer Ken Byng, with a choice of attending the 11am or 2pm session on September 17th.

Attendees for both workshops will get an exclusive taster of what ELEVATE training is, including an oversight of what an ATF will need to put in place to be able to safely handle end of life EVs and hybrids. Most importantly, Ken will also cover why this training is now essential for every ATF.

The ELEVATE team will be available to answer any questions and discuss EV training options and battery disposal services throughout both days of the event.

Two sessions are taking place: 11am or 2pm session on September 18th.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are surging onto roads worldwide — but what happens when they reach the end of their life? For vehicle recyclers, the challenge of dismantling and repurposing high-voltage battery systems is no longer a future concern — it’s today’s operational reality.

Training isn’t just a box to tick. It’s a strategic advantage that safeguards safety, unlocks value, and positions your facility at the forefront of a fast-growing circular economy.

The EV revolution is reshaping not only how vehicles are built but also how they’re dismantled, repurposed, and recycled. Learn ho a certified, competent workforce is the engine of safety, profitability, and credibility.
