How NIVUS used innovation to build new relationships, reconnect with existing contacts and showcase new products to a relevant audience.
📣 The Goal
NIVUS GmbH used WWEM as a platform to present industry-proven solutions and reinforce its technical expertise in flow measurement for UK water utilities, with a particular focus on wastewater networks, storm overflow monitoring, and potable water applications.
A key objective was to increase awareness of the NivuFlow 750 open channel and pipe flow sensor range, demonstrating how the technology can deliver accurate, repeatable data while avoiding the operational and cost challenges associated with traditional intrusive technologies.
🚀 The Approach
With a strong focus on practical application and technical depth, NIVUS designed its stand to spark meaningful engineering-led conversations. Live sensor demonstrations formed the centrepiece, clearly showing how a single sensor platform can be deployed across open channels, partially filled pipes and full pipes alike.
To maximise engagement, the team:
- Delivered hands-on demonstrations to illustrate real-world performance across varied hydraulic conditions.
- Encouraged detailed discussions around common utility challenges, including restricted site access, difficult flow profiles and live installation requirements.
- Created space for both new prospects and existing customers to explore tailored solutions and project-specific needs.
WWEM provided an excellent platform to engage with UK water utilities and contractors on real-world flow measurement challenges.
📊 The Results
NIVUS generated a significant level of interest and generated many leads from many decision-makers, resulting in a high number of technically qualified leads and numerous follow-up meetings post-show. They gained over 70 leads from just two days at the expo.
The ability to showcase their top products with videos and demos at WWEM Expo was a key driver for further engagement.
